A camera looks at things very differently than a person does. That means that if you are scheduled to make an appearance on television you should dress appropriately for the camera. This may mean wearing something very different than you normally would.
Instructions
1. Spend some time seriously considering what you are going to put on your body when you asked to do a television appearance. White is a horrible choice for a television appearance. Avoid it to the best of your ability when choosing clothing.
2. Tie up the loose ends of your outfit by ending fashionable yet tasteful baubles to your wardrobe.
3. Find a color that is flattering to your skin tone. You do not want something that will wash you out on camera.
4. Take at least 3 changes of wardrobe with you so that the person in charge of the television appearance can decide which they want you to wear.
5. Keep your jewelry simple and not glitzy. The shine from jewelry will reflect lights and outshine you. Also be careful to choose a time piece that does not make any noise.
6. Transport a brush and makeup with you to the television appearance. Be sure to touch up makeup and run a comb or brush through your hair before you go in
front of the cameras.
7. Sleep well the night before. This may be hard if you are overcome with nervousness and excitement, but you will look better on camera the more rest you receive the night before the appearance.
